Sometimes we want to boost our faith, but are having trouble being inspired by prayer or Scripture. Sometimes, we need a story and a person to make our faith seem real. Nothing can ever replace prayer or Scripture in our spiritual lives of course, but other people's witness and experience with the healing and forgiving goodness of God can sure comfort us! That is what this story is for me. These are characters living out powerful, but difficult transformations in their lives who do not give up, but by their perseverance and fortitude are able to discover God's goodness against all odds. That doesn't mean that things turn out the way you think they will! There are many unexpected turns and discoveries as the plot unravels. In this book you will meet some best friends who you will fall in love with while you are completely hooked into knowing what comes of their lives. Thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing your heart, mind and soul in this book and for sharing your incredible imagination, humor, and talent. An incredible gift to us all!

I just finished "Forever Love," and loved it! I never thought I would recommend a book set mostly in a nursing home, but here I am. 5 Stars! The story moves rapidly, with crisp dialogue, touching journal entries, a hilarious elderly prankster named Rupert, and is told in different characters' points of view. This book has it all - uplifting message, humor, suspense, mystery and a little romance! I highly recommend this work by Elizabeth Schmeidler!

There seemed so much sadness and loss and after the year I had gone through I wasn't sure I wanted to hear about any more.

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about the book. There seemed so much sadness and loss and after the year I had gone through I wasn't sure I wanted to hear about any more of the same and then I really got into the reading of it and the journal postings of one of the characters and they were so perfect for me to hear. Thank you Liz for the book and for the way you helped me out of the mood I was finding myself in. Your book came at a perfect time in my life and I think it will for so many others. And I have to say, I never would have guessed at some of the twists and turns it took! Great job. Please continue writing and SINGING!

I really enjoyed reading this book. The opening chapter got me hooked...the following chapters about Lyndi's mother were skim through's for me to a certain degree, but very interesting once I got into the meat of the story. Compassion for her special care patients, I could relate to, having worked in a similar setting before...being a singer myself, I had much in common with the main character. I loved the mystery angle and the intrigue...very full of surprises ,a delicious read....I intend to read it again...loved the ending.! Betsy

In the history of her prolife works of fiction, Elizabeth accomplishes the entity of human life from the "womb to the tomb", in her novel Forever Love. The letters portrayed in this book tell the struggle of suffering and sacrifice throughout everyday hardships and joy. All life is precious and this excellent read exemplifies that!
