"We do not have enough space to safely adore Jesus"

The exact words of a chapel coordinator elsewhere in Kansas as she was explaining to me why they decided to close their perpetual adoration chapel. I was stunned by these words. That phrase has been stuck in my brain for about a week. Those words are not the words of the Holy Spirit. Those are not the words of the gospel, and those are certainly not the words of the apostles and martyrs.
How much space is required to safely adore Jesus?
This lie from the devil that has slithered into every corner of our society must be stopped. We must remember to Whom we are speaking that phrase to. We are telling Christ the King, who poured out every drop of blood from His body, that WE need more comfort before we can safely adore Him. We are telling Jesus who saved us from our miserable condition that WE need more before we can honor Him. Pray for conviction and courage in the hearts of the faithful.
